Isaac Pearson House Restoration

Bringing the house built in 1773 by a gentleman farmer back to its former glory

When restored, the mansion will be used as a museum, tourist information center for Mercer, Northern Burlington and Western Monmouth counties, a colonial arts and crafts maker space and a performing arts venue. Please help us restore this house.

There is so much Revolutionary War history wrapped up in this building. There is a legacy of success, intrigue, murder, hardship and the march of time to learn about in the early years of then Nottingham Township.

Was Isaac Pearson a Tory, a spy, a double agent, a timid patriot, a true patriot? Learn about the man and his actions in the aftermath of Washington's rout of the Hessians in the Battle of Trenton. Try to put yourself in his shoes. What would you have done given what Pearson knew?
